We were heading to northeastern Victoria when we saw a gorgeous winery that looked so well-kept. The logo at the front was also attractive; it was just a simple M in Black, but that was more than enough to make us all curious about what was inside. Apparently, that M stands for Mitchelton, and that's where I'm taking you today- Mitchelton Winery in Nagambie.

Where to find Mitchelton | Address
Mitchelton Winery is located at 470 Mitchellstown Road, Nagambie, Victoria 3608, Australia. It’s within the Goulburn Valley wine region. There’s not much around the area, so you’ll see it right away.
This one was taken outside the wine-tasting area, close to the parking spots.

First of all, the whole property looks amazing. It's modern, but it naturally blends in with the natural environment and scenery. Beautiful.
Exploring Mitchelton Winery in Nagambie
We started with the wine tasting, which was interesting because I’m not really a wine drinker. I let my companions help me pick which ones to try, and I enjoyed that experience.

After this, we explored the rest of the place. There were function rooms on the side, a nice pool for the hotel guests, their own elegant hotel, a viewing deck, and an indigenous art gallery bigger than it looked.
The Mitchelton Gallery of Aboriginal Art
The gallery is underground, and there are many beautiful artworks here. I like how the path leads you to another part of the property if you keep going.

The Ashton Tower Lookout
The Ashton Tower is the iconic structure with the Black pointy top. At first, I thought the design drew inspiration from Asian architecture, but when I checked online, many people called it the Witch's Hat tower, so that could have been the inspiration. It does look like one, if you think about it. Interesting.

Anyway, I highly recommend going to the tower when you visit because the 360-degree views of the whole place look so wonderful up here.

That’s all for today. Feel free to browse around the website for more articles.
