When I was browsing activities in Taipei (Taiwan), I came across this unique restaurant tour bus listing, it’s the Taipei Restaurant Bus, and it’s exactly what it sounds like: a bus where you can dine while seeing the city’s popular sights. You can choose from lunch or dinner, and the experience lasts for about an hour and a half (not bad).
Taipei Restaurant Bus | Dine and Explore Taipei Both at the Same Time
We opted for the dinner option, and it started raining a few minutes after we arrived, so the vibe was quite chill. We were with a group of senior citizens from China that night. They were so cute! They were laughing and taking photos the whole time.

Schedule and Where to Book
This experience isn't offered regularly, but you can check the link below to see the next available dates.
Meet Up Place & How to Get There
The meet-up place is at the Taipei City Hall Station. Make sure to go to Exit 3, because that’s where the bus is going to be. The main landmark is the entrance of Breeze Xinyi. You can wait in front of Bottega Veneta.

What’s on the Menu | Food & Bus Route
They featured meals from Dadaocheng cuisine that night, and I swear, everything was so delicious. Everything! We got a good balance of meat and veggies. The appetizers were also the best ones I've had so far. I couldn't remember the names (I deleted the photo of the menu), but they were all unique and tasted really good.

I love the beautiful setup. So elegant and functional. The tables are also customized and designed to keep food and drinks in place (no need to worry about spilling anything while the bus moves).

For our main dish, we had the Braised Pork, which was super tender and tasty. They call this Dongpo, and it's definitely my favorite from the whole spread. It's tender, juicy, and aromatic. It's almost as if it melts in your mouth (and nope, this is not an exaggeration). The sauce was savory, too. 11/10 hehe.

We also had this cabbage soup with a "lion's head" (basically a big, yummy meatball).

We had a fun time. We’d love to book this experience again when we come back in the future.
I highly recommend this activity if you’re visiting Taipei. It is definitely worth it, and I think it is cool to see the local sights while having authentic Taiwanese food on a bus. Unique concept.

Others:
After booking online, it’s advisable to indicate any food allergies you have so they can make the necessary adjustments;
Coffee and tea are free-flowing;
They sell flavored bottled wines (the one I tried was the grape-flavored one);
That’s it for today. Thanks for visiting the blog! Feel free to browse the website for more articles.
