Hello, it’s another beautiful day, and although not much has happened lately, I’ve got a few things to share just for the fun of it. So today, I’m taking a few photos on my phone and writing about them in this post.
Hot & Delicious Taho
Typically, I prefer to jog at night, but for a change, I went in the morning with my husband, and guess what we found? Taho! I didn’t know they sold this as early as 4:30-ish AM on Emerald Avenue. I loved this so much as a kid, and have good memories attached to it. Kuya Roger, the vendor who goes around our area, would always wait for me and Lola or our helper at the gate. He gives me extra sago and always tells me God bless, hehe. So now, whenever I see taho, I remember him and that part of my childhood.

What’s a snack that brings back good memories from your childhood?
You’re going to love these
Scene stickers have been keeping me occupied in my free time, and they are addictive. Perfect for kids and adults! I like how detailed each scene is. I’ve finished three sets so far, and this Purple one with the capybaras is my favorite.

I'm getting more of these because there are plenty of designs available, and it does help improve my focus. The scenes are creative and look pleasant. You can get them on TikTok or Shopee (see link below).

P. Donuts- from Davao to Manila
If you work or reside in Ortigas, there is a cute spot just along Ruby Road where you can get coffee and donuts. It's called P. Donuts, and it's the one with the light Pink interiors. A quick Google search told me that this was originally a Filipino-owned bakery from Davao.

The mochi donuts are a must-try, they’re soft and chewy. I recommend the Black Sesame flavor because it’s not too sweet (the one in the photo is Matcha).
Let’s eat
I love cooking our favorite foods, but there are moments when I feel lazy, so the alternative? Salad and pasta. They’re way easier to cook and also fill us up quickly. Here’s what I prepared recently.

For the salad, I threw a mix of cucumbers, pomelo, apples, some red onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Then I used Kewpie's Roasted Sesame Dressing to top it all off (this is so delicious).
For the pasta, I used fettuccine, then just sauteed garlic, onions, Tulip Jamonilla bits, and basil bits. I used to make more when we were still in Ilocos because it's easy to prepare. You only need a few ingredients, and you can easily add a lemon slice and fresh basil leaves to make it presentable if you have guests.
That would be all for today. Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a great week ahead. It's currently midnight here in the Philippines, and I'm getting hungry. Bye!
