Must Try: Himalaya's Extra Nourishing Skin Cream

Are you looking for an effective, value-for-money moisturizer that can keep your skin fresh and smooth the whole day? You’ve come to the right place! For today’s post, we’re going to talk about a skin cream from one of my favorite brands, Himalaya Herbals.

Product: Himalaya Herbals Olive Extra Nourishing Skin Cream

What it is: it’s a multipurpose cream you can use for your face and your body.

What it’s not: it’s not a Whitening cream or a scar remover (people have asked me about this before, so just putting it out here).

Packaging & Claims

The product comes in a plastic tub that’s convenient to bring around whether you’re traveling or would just like to have a moisturizer in handy. It claims to provide deep nourishment and offer twice as much moisture protection (compared to their other products). It also says that it’s suitable for all skin types, although I wouldn't recommend this for those who have oily skin. The last time I suggested this to a friend who’s more on the oily side, and she said her skin looked oilier, so I think this works best with dry skin.

Scent & Feel

The cream has a mild, clean, and natural scent, which is relaxing to the nose. It’s something you’d look forward to applying to your face because of its moisturizing effects and aroma as well. The actual product is lightweight and easily glides onto the skin. For best results, massage it in circular motions.

My Thoughts

I’ve been using Himalaya Herbals’ Nourishing Skin Cream for many years now, and the results have always been positive, which is why when I tried the Olive variant, I was already expecting it to live up to the brand's standard. As it turns out, it was better! It dries faster, smells more fragrant, and it did have that extra nourishing effect (as the label claims).

As I said in my video, you only need a small amount of it to cover your whole face and neck, but if you wish to apply a generous amount, that would be even better. You’ll wake up with nicer-looking skin (seriously). You can also use this for your elbows and knees.
