Meeting Friends at Prologue | Deuces with Mayana
It was a busy Sunday when our college friend group gathered to celebrate our friend Karla’s upcoming wedding. We met at Prologue, a restaurant inside Mitsukoshi Mall. I was happy to reunite with some university friends because I hadn't seen them for a long time- the last was during Thea's wedding.
Reunited with College Friends at Prologue
When Hapy returned from the US for a quick vacation here in the Philippines, I was overseas and couldn't join the scheduled get-together two months ago, so it felt good to see these ladies again. We don't get to hang out often because we don't live close to each other and have our own lives, but I'm thankful because they have always been great company (even when I only spent two years with them because of my irregular schedule back then).
So anyway, going back, here's our lovely bride-to-be, Karla! She looked fresh and radiant. We wish her all the best as she enters a new phase in her life 🩷
Love the ambiance.
More photos below. Credits to the girls. Since Aira and Hapy could not come, Thea edited them to be in our group photo hehe. We’ll just catch up during the wedding (my goddaughter Hiraya will be one of the flower girls).
Gabbie was thoughtful; she brought props for everyone (veil, sashes, and paper sunnies).
For our food, we ordered pizza and pasta. It was already past 2 PM, so that was our merienda (afternoon snacks).
The Pizza Margherita, Beef Garganelli, and Caesar Salad were delicious.
We also ordered drinks. I got a hot Mocha (as usual), and the taste was okay.
Catching Up with the Roomie at Deuces
After how many years, I finally met with my roommate. We had coffee at Bo's first, had a little chit-chat, and then strolled around as we kept catching up. I missed her! Hehe. It felt like the good old days, except we're adults now.
Mayana was one of my roomies back in college, and we had great memories together along with the others. She's patient, good at taking photos, and has a good sense of spirituality.
Dorm life was fun. I enjoyed it a lot. It was like having a sleepover every day. Of course, that was because I lived with wonderful people. I am lucky because the ladies I've shared the room with were of my kind (211 and 303 loves).
Since we had plenty to talk about, we stayed for dinner, then had drinks again, but this time, at Deuces. I highly recommend you visit this cafe. I wasn't expecting that much, but I enjoyed my coffee. Mayana ordered tea. I think she enjoyed it as well, hehe. The ambiance was perfect, my drink was delicious, and they had excellent customer service. I like how attentive they were.
I guess that would be all for today. Thank you for being here.
