Went to the South & DLSU-D on a Weekday | Catching Up with My Roomie

I think the last time I traveled South of Manila was three years ago (when I went to La Salle Dasma with my other roommate, Lulu). 

Heading South is always exciting for me because it brings back good memories. There are many nice places to visit, and of course, that's where my alma mater is. I grew up in Pasig and only stayed in Dasmariñas during my university years, but those years were enjoyable. So it will always have a special place in my heart. Legit ah, di to charot hahaha. 

Anyway, I went to Alabang first to check something out, and then to DLSU-D to get a document. I commuted that day and left early, so I arrived around lunchtime and got everything done. My other roommate Rosie also followed so we could catch up while I was in the area. She came with her fiancé, and we just stayed in the food square. Tambay muna ng konti. We also ordered Kulpy Chicken- these are flavored Korean chicken pops that you eat with a stick (it doesn’t taste as good anymore, huhu). 

We wanted to show Oliver around, so we just did a quick campus tour even if it was raining. There were not many students because it was Freshmen orientation day.

This was at CTHM and Museo de La Salle.

After the rain stopped, Rosie took me to The Orchard Golf & Country Club (Salitran) to walk around and chat a bit more. Ang ganda dito, very tahimik and chill lang. 

Our last stop for the day was Newport. Well, it wasn’t really part of my agenda, but since Rosie happened to have a scheduled dinner at Newport Mall that night (and I was also heading in the same direction), I already went with them. Talk about perfect timing, thank you, Lord! Hehe.

We only chatted a bit more and remembered a few funny moments during our university life. Nakakamiss din maging student and umuwi sa dorm! Hihi. When you live with other girls, they become like your sisters. My college life wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it, and the whole experience was made more memorable by the people I met- such as my roommates.
