Greenfield Weekend Market

Tita Night

There's just something so comforting about being in a jam-packed venue with great music. You get to observe a lot of things, you meet new acquaintances, and you just feel more present. One busy weeknight, I met up with my college friends Cas and Clare to unwind and have a good time. We went to the mall first to get pizza, then later on moved to Greenfiled for drinks. It was a simple yet fun night. It was nice seeing them both. I appreciate that they had time to meet me because I rarely get the chance to hang out with college buddies, for the reason that they're all from the South and I'm originally from Pasig City (batang Pasig) ♥

Chill Vibe

As expected, we recalled some of the best and funniest memories we had back in college. We didn't feel nostalgic though. It was a pretty chill night filled with great vibes and drinks. The band played alternative music, and I also saw one of the musicians I used to work with, he was playing the guitar at that time. Too bad I wasn't able to say Hi or greet him an advanced happy father's day (they left right after their set).

Happy place

I highly recommend you visit this place because apart from the food options you'll surely love, it's so accessible too! If you don't feel like paying for expensive cab rides, you can always take the bus, the jeepney, or the FX. Yes to transpo savings! Hehe. No need to worry about the long lines because they have free wi-fi.

The talented performers and the whole chill vibe never fails to excite the fun-loving crowd in this park. Greenfield District is my comfort place; I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. It's where I usually bring my friends, where I spend time alone, where I do my readings for grad school, and where I get inspiration to write (usually during Fridays or weekends). You can either find me sitting in one of the concrete benches in the open space, inside Serenitea, or inside 7/11 claiming my coffee reward from CLiQQ. I first discovered the place when I was in college. I'm originally from Pasig City, but I studied in Cavite, so during those times when I'd have to commute from Dasmariñas to Pasig, I'd ride a Jasper Jean bus then alight at Shaw. From there, I just wait for a jeepney, an FX, or a cab (whichever comes first) because it's only 15 minutes away from our place.

Recommendations As for recommendations, I suggest you dine at Habib Restaurant, then get your milk tea fix from Serenitea. Those are my personal favorites! For alcohol, you can go to Blackwood, but remember to drink responsibly. After parting ways with Cas and Clare, I went to McDonalds' in Kapitolyo and ordered a large cup of coffee and enjoyed some quiet time as I waited for the Grab rider to arrive.
