My Easy Skin Care Routine

Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out the blog. For today’s post, I'll be sharing with you how I take care of my skin in three easy steps: cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. I've always enjoyed doing my basic skin regimen; it's easy, time-efficient, and works well for me. I love how it only requires a few products, which makes it easy to maintain the routine even when I'm out and traveling. Here's how I do each step:

Cleansing

I start by dampening my face with warm water, applying a cleanser, then gently working it around my face in a circular motion. I usually do this for 15-20 seconds. After that, I wash it all using cold water, then pat it dry with a towel.

I often try out different cleansers, which is why I cannot give you a specific brand for this step. I’m using something from Himalaya at the moment though, it’s the Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash, in Peach. It’s a scented product formulated to remove excess oil and other impurities on the skin.

Toning

Next, I use Moringa O2’s Malunggay Herbal Facial Toner; this is to remove any residual dirt on my face and prep it for moisturizing. I've honestly been using this product for years now, and I've seen it work wonders for my pores too. If you're looking for an alcohol-free toner that feels light and clean on the face, I suggest that you try this brand. Moringa O2 is a beauty brand from the Philippines that offers premium hair and skin products.

Moisturizing

For the last step, I moisturize my skin using Himalaya Herbals’ Nourishing Skin Cream, another product that I've also been using for years. It helps keep your skin supple and isn’t necessarily for the face alone; you can use it for the other parts of your body as well. Learn more about it by watching the video on this link.

That’s it! My daily routine only consists of three things: cleanse, tone, and moisturize.

Other Skin Treats

Apart from the daily skin routine, I also do a few more things on some occasions, like naturally exfoliating my skin using coffee grounds, putting on face masks, or using a skin oil after I moisturize for added nourishment.

Below are the other products & natural mixes that I use: Aztec Secret- Indian Healing Clay Mask Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil Homemade Turmeric Mask (just mix turmeric powder with olive oil) Homemade Coffee Scrub (use gently on its own) Of course, on top of the products and natural solutions, I drink lots of water as well . Water removes toxins in our body and heals it too. I believe it’s one of the best natural beauty secrets out there. I’m glad I’m a heavy water drinker because I love eating sweets, and water reduces the chances of me getting major breakouts (the occasional pimple is fine).

Anyway, I guess that would be all for now. If you have something to share, feel free to send a message on the About section of this blog.
