Transitioning to the New Normal
How are you? How have you been? The past few months have been challenging for all of us; it’s not easy battling a pandemic that no one was expecting, at a time when we’re living our best lives. It’s a digital world As the saying goes, the only thing constant in this world is change. While it’s uncomfortable for some of us to transition to the new normal, it has to happen. It’s necessary for progress. As you see, our whole setup is completely different now; it’s a digital world. Almost everything is just a click away; bills payment, food delivery, dating services, entertainment sources, cleaning services, you name it. We’re getting closer to digitizing everything each day, most especially at this time, all in the name of public health.
Living in a digital world is both good and bad. It’s good because it provides us the convenience and connectivity that we need to save time or costs, and bad in the sense that people also use digital technologies (like social media) excessively, if not irresponsibly. With that, it’s not entirely beneficial or harmful for us, but it would depend on how we use it, or what we use it for.
Keeping up with the new normal If you’re having a hard time adjusting to the new normal, that’s fine; there’s no need to feel anxious about it, take it one day at a time. You can meditate, write affirmations, or create a vision board to channel your energy into something creative. You can also speak to your friends or create simple, memorable moments with your family at home. You’ll surely get the hang of it.
Staying productive The idea of working from home is something that sounds great to some and challenging for others. Since we all work differently, not everyone might enjoy the idea of doing reports in their bedrooms. There are still those who prefer to be in a working environment to fully function.
