Journals & Coffee | Life Lately

A quick glimpse at some of the things going on in my life.

Life Lately | Journals Galore

I just finished working on my wellness journal, and I’m glad how it turned out. I’ve included pages for reading notes, mood trackers, and random thoughts. It’s kind of like a bullet journal, except that it doesn’t have any weekly or monthly spreads (a bullet journal combines a diary and a journal in one book). It’s such a good way to stay calm and patient in this ever busy, fast-paced world. I also got new notebooks from Veco Paper, one of which I’ll be designing soon so that I can use it as a minimalist 2021 planner. I’ll show you the final output once I’m done.

Veco has nice 100GSM notebooks; they’re simple, stylish, and more affordable as compared to other brands. If you like journaling as well, you should check it out. Going back, I’ll be using the materials I got from Shopee (which you can check out on my stationery haul video or blog post). I’m so excited! ♥

In Quiet Mode

I miss being active on social media, but keeping things on the down low is fun too. You have more time all of a sudden to do other things. I guess I'll be active again once I finish updating my Facebook friends list and the people I follow on IG.

Currently, I'm using my Facebook account to manage my page and get more readers for the blog. But the actual feed is in quiet mode at the moment. I'm using a Google Chrome plugin called Newsfeed Eradicator. It removes everything on your home page and replaces it with quotes. That means I purposely visit the profiles of my friends and family whose life updates I want to see or comment on (until I change the settings).

All Things Coffee

1) Recently, I’ve been using used coffee grounds again to exfoliate my skin. It’s been a while since I last did this (I kind of went on a coffee break), so it makes me happy to be able to do it again. It’s a natural way to remove dead skin cells, and doesn’t require any extra purchase from you, too! You should definitely try it; you’ll feel the softness right after your wash your face. Just remember to scrub gently.

2) If you happen to be looking for a store that offers delicious, yet affordable coffee, I suggest that you try Coffee Buddy. It’s a newfound discovery that I’d like to share with you all. They have a wide variety of reasonably-priced local grounds that you can purchase online. I’ve been making myself hot mugs of Joe the past few days, and I love how all the variants I ordered are more flavorful than the ones I used to get before. Their Kalinga variant is a must-try. Promise. That would be all for now, I guess. That's life lately. Thanks for reading this post. ♥ Andi
